Our Dec. 28th Visit to Aquarium and Discovery Center

At the Aquarium and Discovery Center in Dubai

































We visited the brand-new aquarium (picture of large tank) and discovery center in Dubai. It's in one of the soon-to-be-largest malls in the world! (This country seems bent on winning the prize for most superlatives in construction.) It was a lot of fun although a few of the tanks seemed too small for the animals housed in them. :( It wasn't too expensive either so we'll definitely be visiting again soon!

The screaming and tantrums are wearing me down. How long does this phase last?

Thankfully, Laith has added some new words to his minimalist spoken vocabulary: rice, egg, juice, Pooh, Elmo, Big Bird...that's all I can think of right now. He is still signs a lot. I wish I had had more time to learn more signs. He's probably be ready for a school for the Deaf by now!
